Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Cornerstone Dublin Epoxy Flooring website and any estimate, proposal or job we take on for you. By using this site or hiring us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

"We", "us" and "our" mean Cornerstone Dublin Epoxy Flooring. "You" means the person using the site or the property owner or manager who hires us. If a signed written proposal or contract for your job says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Dublin, CA, based in Dublin and working in the cities around it. Our work includes epoxy, polyaspartic and metallic coatings, polished and stained concrete, concrete grinding and repair, sealing, overlays and related services for homes and businesses. You can read more about our crew on our About page and see our services from the home page.

We're licensed and insured. The descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. They aren't a promise that your floor will look or perform exactly the same, because every slab is different and the result depends on its condition.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no pressure and no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, including floor size, the slab's condition, the system you choose and the prep it needs.

Some things only show up once the work starts, such as moisture in the slab, old coatings or adhesives, deep cracks or damage under existing flooring. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before doing extra work. An estimate is valid for the period written on it, and prices may change after that because material costs change.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, temperature, humidity, material delays and problems found in the slab can move the schedule, and coatings need set cure times before you can walk or drive on them, so we'll tell you when the floor is ready for use.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area, a clear space with belongings and vehicles moved out, and power and water if the job needs them. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call us at (925) 230-5014 as early as you can. Materials ordered for your job and work already done may be billed as stated in your proposal.

Payment

The payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your written proposal or invoice. Payment is due as stated there, and final payment is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current, and you agree to pay reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as allowed under California law. Approved changes to the scope are added to your final invoice.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with work we did, tell us and we'll come back and look at it. Any written warranty on materials or workmanship for your job will be spelled out in your proposal or final paperwork, and only those written terms apply.

We can't guarantee results against things outside our control, including moisture or vapor coming up through the slab, ground movement, cracks that open after the job, damage from chemicals, hot tires, heavy impacts or dragging equipment, and skipped care or cure instructions. Coating makers set their own product warranties, and those are between you and the maker. Apart from what's written in your job paperwork, our services and this website are provided as is, without other warranties.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a space, lost business income or delays caused by things outside our control. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under California law. We aren't responsible for problems caused by work done by others before or after our crew.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us or reach us through our contact page first. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we talk them through, and we'll make a good-faith effort to resolve it with you.

If we can't settle it together, either side may bring the dispute in a court with jurisdiction in Alameda County, California, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.

California law applies

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed proposal unless we both agree in writing.
